Voidbringer

35x35 inches (900x900mm) | Mixed media on canvas

Inspired by the artist's poem Voidbringer, this original piece explores the interplay of form and emptiness, movement and stillness. Created using acrylics, oil pastels, pencils, and markers, the layered textures and bold contrasts invite the viewer into a dialogue with the unknown.

Voidbringer (Poem)

It is felt before it's seen.
The earth shifting underfoot.
Birds fall silent.
Fear hangs thick in the air.
A metallic taste heralds incubus.

It comes.
In place of a roar, a whisper.
Civil air as a veil.
Covenants gilded in gold and glory.
A promise of a better tomorrow.
A nugget in exchange, then a mountain.
The horizon stretches wide,
its breadth grows menacingly,
cloaked in silence.
